How It Works

1. Fill Out Application Form
  • Interested candidates begin by filling out an application form by clicking the “Apply Now” button.
  • The application form collects essential information such as personal details, qualifications, work experience, and a cover letter explaining the candidate’s interest in joining the team.
2. Shortlisting Process
  • After receiving applications, the hiring team reviews them to shortlist candidates who meet the necessary qualifications and requirements for the therapy position.
  • Shortlisted candidates are notified of their status and may proceed to the next stage of the hiring process.
3. Application Acceptance Notification
  • Candidates whose applications are accepted receive notification from WA Mental Health confirming their acceptance into the candidate pool for therapy positions.
  • This notification may include further instructions or details about the next steps in the hiring process.
4. Therapy Position Interview
  • Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by Carrina Hampton, where they will be assessed based on their qualifications, experience, and alignment with the organisation’s values and mission.
5. Post-Interview Evaluation
  • Following the interview, the hiring team evaluates each candidate based on their performance during the interview and their fit for the therapy team.
  • Reference checks may be conducted to gather additional insights into the candidate’s professional background and work ethic.
6. Offer and Onboarding
(if successful)
  • Successful candidates who pass the interview stage and reference checks receive a job offer from WA Mental Health.
  • Upon accepting the offer, the candidate goes through an onboarding process, which includes completing paperwork, orientation, and training on company policies and procedures.
  • They are integrated into the therapy team, where they receive support and guidance as they transition into their role and begin providing compassionate and collaborative mental health care.
